basketball is a close second with the acting with the throwing their arms in the air and screaming when they get blocked. officiating sucks there as well but not nearly as bad as kickball. it's the worst by a country mile.

I really thought the VAR system would help catch and punish embellishment. So far I have not seen that at all, and the increased number of penalties seem to suggest it's having the opposite effect which is disappointing.

And now Poland lost to Senegal... this tournament is starting out way different than I thought.

keep in mind that what I'm about to say is 90% limited to watching World Cup play and MLS since Atlanta got a team(I am a season ticket holder. I go to most games.) so my exposure is some what limited.

so what I've sen so far in regards to VAR is the officials HATE reversing their call and will avoid it at all cost. hell one ATL UTD game the official called our guy for pulling down the defender in order to beat him to make the shot which he scored on. replay clearly showed that not only was the foul wrong but the defender was never ever touched. the official couldn't have looked at the play for more than 3 seconds before running back and holding up the foul.

it also seems like fouls outside the box aren't fouls inside the box. you've really got to hammer a guy to get a foul in the box. and even then it still lacks consistency. in fact I'd say that's the biggest problem. there is no consistency to what gets called and what doesn't.

Yea, a lot of the places don't have Hamachi. I drive a few miles extra to go to my usual place because they have it. And what is wrong with Avocado? Avo and the crab salad is great!
