That sucks. I would think that would be more sketchy on an AutoX course with nothing really separating you from people and parked cars then cones.

This felt different than a normal abs event, as it immediately triggered abs as soon as started braking, can't remember if the bumps immediately preceded or was braking through them. Also, the abs pulsed faster but with less force than usual. This was my first, and possibly last run with pedal dance.

![]() It really wasn't all that bad. The car still slowed, and there's an amount of runoff available. Still made the turn even, just blew the apex. I'd say it was about 2/3 to 3/4 of full braking force. I have also found the load limit for the EPS as well, earlier in the season. The fabled EPS cut is real. Also happens when going over bumps while doing steering/braking. That's really scary in tight quarters because it can rip the wheel out of your hands if you aren't expecting it.

it was enough that i stopped and got out of the car to make sure that there wasn't something stuck in the front knuckles limiting the steering angle all of a sudden. after the second time, i realized i was hitting a vehicle system limitation, not a mechanical stop, and started taking it easier. but definitely disconcerting!

Scary as hell. I have never been able to make pedal dance work. Just random sudden total lack of brakes even with the pedal to the floor.

Nothing wrong with testing the waters. Those experiences have helped me find greater satisfaction in following my own bliss.

Ok, didn't learn, but today I was reminded there is a cabin air filter. I can't remember ever changing it. No wonder my fuel trims are off.
