Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure I use 2.5oz as well. 2oz per 10 gallons it says on the bottle. The other .5 makes up for the additional gas up to 12ish gallons when I fill up. I normally put the Lucas UC cleaner in at about 7 gallons, then finish filling my tank so it mixes in well.

I'm about to buy a huge supply of this stuff off Amazon. It's working, and even better... I gained a few MPG out of it too. Engine runs great with it.

Just adding some info:
I've had the chirp from day 1 with 93 octane fuel, no matter the station. Only starts once the car is warm, which is not possible in the cold months.

This week I filled with NO ethanol 91 octane fuel. No chirp. It was a warm day, and I was driving for about 3 hours straight. No chirp. It was a really nice change.

Subaru dealer offered to replace the pump, I'm just not convinced it will make a difference, so I'll probably leave the original.

Leave it. Keep using the 0 eth 91.

I filled up with Shell V-Power 91 in NH for a trip back down to MA after hiking Mt. Washington and holy shit it was like cricket steroids!

Louder than I've ever had them, but not consistent. Louder when the car is warmed up, not a peep when it is colder. Can't wait for this tank of gas to be gone.

6500 miles, filled with Citgo 93 90% of the time I've owned it.

That is so odd. Shell v-power 91 is the only thing in socal that made the crickets go away for me.

So I returned home from work, left the engine running, and opened the hood to check for chirping... nothing. 2015 FR-S with 450 miles on the clock. 2nd tank of gas at 93 octane (idk if there is eth in it). I'm reluctant to say they wont come soon or even in the future so I'm going to keep checking.

Usually doesn't show up for a couple thousand miles. Mine didn't appear until around 2k miles.

well, some have said they heard it from day 1 and some said from 300 miles. I think i heard the sound while idling at 600 RPM this morning in the starbux drive through though. :/

update: crickets confirmed 550 miles, i heard it when i was about to turn the car off but got curious. as soon as i opened the door i heard it and it was obvious when i opened the hood.

I have tried the UCL and still have crickets. What fuel are you using?

The UCL did not work for me either but the Lucas 2-stroke oil did. Almost no crickets are left to speak of. I highly recommend it!
