And, the 401 will be down to a single lane in two different sections this year. One butts up to the long ass one you got to enjoy last year lol

I believe you said your Windsor trips were way down though.

You really are trapped when the 401 is a mess. There's nowhere to go...

Ah gotcha. I have mostly rich people and some small farms between home and work, so my situation is a bit different.

Ya I only do Windsor a couple of times a month now instead of twice a week. It was down to one lane from Chatham to Tillbury for most of the summer the last two years but I managed to drive it on the off hours so it wasn't bad.

He's talking about Fucks, with an F. Apparently too many Clucks makes you unable to read.

Good thing. I'm just giving you the heads up that two more sections are going to be torn up and a single lane.

I live in London and although the map doesn't make clear how big it is we have a population of about 500,000 so you do not want to drive across the city if you can avoid it. I live where the S in Whiteoaks is (above where it says Ontario 401). The 401 is our version of an interstate and is in fact the major highway in Canada. The sections up near Toronto have been declared the busiest highway in the world! As you can see if I try to go south of the 401 there are almost no roads at all other than gravel farm roads that don't show on the map.
If I go north I can take highway 9 but it is a really bad road and passes through several towns and a small city. I can go all the way north to 2 but then have to cross through most of London to get home. Both 9 and 2 will plug up fast if the 401 is closed so I am pretty much screwed when it happens.

Yep. It is a 6 year plan so they will be at it a few more years. I don't mind when that direction gets closed though since I can take the old Tecumseh highway (#2) which bends and twists all along the Thames River on the way to London. Really nice in the summer when all the resort towns an beaches along Lake St Clair are in full swing and there is nice scenery. Don't mind the extra hour then since it isn't all cows and corn.
