@jeffsides, that was a time to be proud of, especially considering you set it in the very dusty first run group. It was interesting to see how the course got grippier as the day went on, but the downside was dust and gravel pushed on the side of the line, I went off the line a few times during time only runs and paid for it.

I finally got my video uploaded.

Here's the only comp run I remembered to record. Of course it's the one where I spin. (Seems there's always a run where I spin)

This is my best afternoon run:
The spin video was funny! I watched your line coming around the wallom, and I thought, "There he goes," when I saw you go off line. Btw, Ninjin is smooth, so the video really doesn't how fast he is moving.

You can change the fov on that camera by changing the resolution. Since its a fisheye it doesnt show speed well but the other setting will be more accurate as you pass cones.

When you started spinning I clenched while sitting on the couch lol.

Yeah, it probably would be better to use the wider FOV, but for where I had it mounted I thought it would mostly be showing more car body and sky. I'll have to find some time to play around with it more. I wanted to set it up properly inside the car for a good view through the windshield, but decided to play it safe and mount outside since I didn't have a way to preview the footage.

P.S. Photos are being posted. Check it out! http://owenphotos.smugmug.com/Other/...7988&k=vvWgMZc

Holy body roll, Batman! I can't wait to get a bigger sway bar. (No, I don't have purple DRLs, that's just the pic )

I don't how Mattles did, but he seemed to be having fun.

All SCCA autox registration has migrated to one site - http:// mindthecones.com Registration for Marana is open, which is next weekend on Sunday. Marana is an hour and a half south of Phoenix and a half hour north of Tucson. It is a big lot and offers long fast runs -they are normally done at 2:00 or so.
Blah, let's not talk about how I did...but I won't be there for Marana since I've got plans to do nerdier things this weekend...

All in all though, AMP was awesome and I had a lot of fun as always. Everyone did a great job and I think one of my favorite parts about these events is seeing other FRS/BRZs and cheering each other on. We've got an awesome community

Hitting triple digits in third gear seems pretty tempting.
