so good news/bad news. plymouth breeze badges don't seem to be available anymore. it was really just a '3d'/raised/bubble vinyl sticker on those cars

but it did lead my down a path of potential metal badges with the Duster and fury options, which cascaded into old pontiac and oldsmobile badges. road runner badges are too under-stated for what they are.

also started considering taking some Grand Prix and Grand Am badges and making a Grand Pm, couldn't find the right fonts for a Grand Sunfire, though i might have to talk to some vinyl people...

Wheel bearings can have no issues off of the car and spin freely with no resistance... and then once on the car they're definitely dead. There goes the weekend :/

Yeah, you can't check the wheel bearings on these like an older car. I've gone as far as pulling the rotor off and it would feel fine but you could hear/feel it through the wheel when driving.

New bearing ordered from Rockauto. Disgusting how even after import it's 1/3 the price from Canadian suppliers.

A painful TIL. I'm paying a shop to deal with these, and I ordered some rears so they can deal with those as well.

The rears seem to last way longer than the fronts. I have been through a bunch of fronts but no rears.

270k km, and the car will already be on their lift. Just get it done all at once, plus then someone else deals with the rear axle nuts -.-
