Mine pulled 178whp SAE corrected with all the mods. Bob's car puts down high 160s. I'd love to see that car with these parts on it, maybe it'd be close to 190whp.

special thank you to Bob and Drift Office for the free dynos for everyone that came! Wonderful shop.

pictures from the event are in the thread: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6759

Wonder if the wide range of outputs is related to how many miles were on the cars and if they were out of the break-in period. Would love to compare mileage to output numbers. I've heard two people now say that their engine exhaust note (totally stock) changed as the car put on the miles, and said something about how Subaru's are known to take a while to get loose and make full power.

Thanks for the video - the reverb off the brick makes it hard to hear the real sound but the car definately seems to like that exhaust. 178whp, assuming 10% dyno loss and 18% drivetrain loss puts it at 230ish crank hp. Amazing gains for a non-tuned N/A 2L

I remember when the S2000 came out people would put I/H/E on and lose power.

I've definitely noticed several cars adjusting over time.

pretty much every single car that went on the dyno that day had over 1k miles... several over 2500 miles (including mine). I think Bob's had the least amount of miles, and was one of the strongest...
Mechaghost's mostly stock BRZ with an auto put down 170whp. insane. he had light weight wheels and a K&N panel filter. hah.

The wheels will make a difference on a Dynojet.

I've been running under the assumption that yours is stock except for the Nameless stuff.

As far as I can tell, their limits are set at 96 decibels, and the distance appears to not be important. The bylaw essentially states at "any point of reception" so anywhere it could be measured with a device. So who knows what that really means, whether it is like 2 feet from exhaust tip or 10 meters.

What were the readings at 10' that you recorded?

Have you guys tested backpressure with the cat and without? That would affect the speed of sound.

Know you guys are busy setting up getting your shop car, but any news on latest testing? Are you going for small tube catless or 4-1 next?

Awesome thread, I've been loving the results so far. For clarification real quick, the last dyno posted by Nameless, is the OP/DP catted?

Yes, great work! I've actually got the wife to agree to let me put a full catless exhaust on her FRS. So as soon as she gets a few thousand miles on the motor and we get a baseline dyno, I'll be buying.

yep, catted with a high flow 200 cell unit, flows equivalent to a 2.5" pipe. I believe you can order it catless if you call and ask.

Do you know if/when they plan to show dynos of the catted header/catless dp and/or catless header/catless dp?

Hmm. Well I don't think they are expecting much difference in the catted/catless downpipe, besides in weight. Other header back systems on the market that have the catless downpipe make less power than the Nameless catted downpipe/axleback, so I think it's a fair assumption. It would save some cost and weight, though.

We'll haveto wait for Jason to chime in I guess.
