I have your Premium stage 1 kit going on my car in a week or so.
On your site, the only options for injectors was the 1000cc upgrade, which I got along with the GTX28 turbo. I am NOT going with E85, and I'm wondering if the 1000cc injectors will be too big for my application? I'm going with the Hydra standalone EMS and their Hydramist WMI system but no E85, just 91 california gas. In asking about the larger injectors, it was mentioned that injectors that are too large will be a pain to tune. Should I be running smaller injectors? Like 750cc or 650cc? If I would be better off with smaller injectors, can I send the 1000cc ones I bought from you back for some more appropriately sized injectors? |

Mike, the 1000cc will be a little too big on pump gas alone. Please give us a call and we can figure it out for you.

Thanks very much for the quick reply!!
That's why I chose your outfit for my turbo kit. You guys have the best customer service record. I'll call you first thing Tuesday, I figure you're probably at SEMA or home on Sunday and Monday's a holiday. |

FullBlown Motorsports definitely has my upmost respect in customer service. LJ is great to deal with and knows his job. He has sent me roms back within minutes! The kit is great and the people are great! Running the Premium Stage 1 kit. Some advise when installing, dont break the plug on the VVT sensors, they are real close to the Manifold and I broke one and it took me over a week to figure out what the hell was wrong with the car because the plug was still hanging in place but the contacts where broken!

My Full Blown Premium stage 1 kit is installed, and will be tuned in the next week or so.
The premium kit has the V-band clamps. I'm wondering about the fact that there's no brackets, or anything supporting the turbo system. The entire system is held on the car by the header and header bolts. I haven't seen the base kit which uses the T3 flanges where a bracket can be bolted to and whether it has a bracket or not. My question is, is there anything to worry about on my premium kit as far as need a bracket, or something to help support the turbo system on the car? Should I look into making a support bracket? The header is super heavy, and connected to it are the turbo, downtube, over/front pipe, wastegate, it all weighs a lot. |

No need for brackets if they are properly welded. The premium manifolds are all schedule 10 back purged. VCMC has been running around with our manifold for awhile. Those guys put a beating on their car, more than anyone out there.
I wouldn't stress about it much. |

OK Thanks! I won't worry.
I'm assuming the Hydra and Meth are set up correctly, my tuner has tuned with it before. We are using the window washer bottle for double-duty for both window wash and meth tank. Hydra/Aquamist has a gauge making it easy to monitor levels in the tank. I've talked with Element, and asked the tuner to work with Element when it comes time to tune. I've really stressed to them what I've been told- that even though they've done big HP Subarus, it won't help them in tuning this car, so I'm hoping they talk to you and others to gather as much info as possible when tuning my car. I'm confident they'll give me a safe tune. Hoping for the HP numbers to meet what I'm hoping for. I'm in CA on 91 crap. We ordered a 3" catless over/front pipe from Nameless, but they sent a catted one, so we're just waiting on the catless pipe to show up, otherwise the car is done. |

I can't wait to see!
Unfortunately, I fear that with the delay from the over/front pipe from Nameless, that the whole thing is going to run into the holidays with Xmas and New Years and whatever days they take off for both, so it may still be a couple weeks. FLI has been great, and I'm sure I'll get a good safe tune, Ryan has been trying to keep me in perspective as far as to what HP numbers we're going to see. I've told him some of the numbers I've seen here, and said that I'm hoping for 330+ ideally, but 300+ WHP would be great, and I went with the WMI to help with this goal. What I think may happen is that since they haven't tuned one of these cars yet, I'll get a good, safe, conservative tune, with a bit of room to improve with more tuning by them, or someone who's got experience with eeking the last few horsies from the FA20 engine. I hope they take Phil from Element Tuning's offer for help with tuning with the Hydra and Hydramist as well. |

30,000+ miles and no problems to report, even the original fans are still going.
