Anyway, I love responsive cars with a broad powerband. However, there is a solution to your problem. It's called a gearbox. ever heard of one?

This car was never meant to be a muscle car.

Just saying....

You are ignorant if you think that good power generally means muscle car. By your logic a lot of sports cars is "muscle cars". And yes you are right I drive a torqueless wonder and trust me my engine is the worst part of my car next to my brakes. If I'm upgrading then a N/A 2.0l boxer isn't going to make me feel any better about my commute. I had a feeling I would get under your skin you're so predictable.

This morning I was haten those tail lights, but after seeing the video I really really start to like them
Now they only have to deal with the audi style fog lights as I still do hate them

When I watched the GT-5 video, I though the red one was first concept.

The red and white definitely look better than black IMO.

Trust me, it's not going to be 100lb ft of torque. You don't have to worry that much.

Sorry you are disappointed in your Acura..heh

I enjoy my Celica GTS on hills, curves, highway, taking off from a start..etc.

It's no V-8 nor V-6..but I don't want one of those..something about balance.

I had loads of fun in '85 AE86 GTS.

However, neither one were/are commute cars..that is what a '93 Tercel is for.

I didnt think i liked it much up until i seen that clip... I reckon this thing will

look much better when a company puts together a widening kit for this and u

can set it up with good offset... Will clean up some of the strong lines in the

arch flares atleast.. They have certainly killed the awesome looking tail lights & rear end..

I was sold on getting this in black but seeing it in white.... Well now im not so sure..

White with a carbon firbe bonnet and difusers, dumped, 25mm widening kit, and some Black 18inch Volks would be pure sex.....

Hachiroku get ready for this forum to EXPLODE in the coming months...

Well done bro.........
now it all makes sense. you're a fanboy.

i'd rather be down slightly on torque and have something that's fun to drive and revs to 8000.

This thing will need a turbo.

If it only has 200 HP NA...then it can't sell higher than a base genesis coupe.
doesn't need a turbo. you are incorrect. have you ever driven a high-revving n/a car that handles well?

Torqueless monsters make for a great drivers car. They make you work for performance and reward better than a car that has the power to overcome anything. I drive a high reving (9500 rpm) torqueless (1.6L) monster everyday. And I love it. As for highway speeds, the only major down side on the highway is running at higher rpms than most others. As long as you got a good exhuast note for those higher rev starts, its not that bad and a whole lot of fun.

This is my point about these engines. This is all fun and good on a track where you can rev to your hearts desire but on regular roads where we all drive around 2500rpms to 4500 rpms these engines suck ass IMO and they feel like you're beating the crap out of them just to go somewhere. Most people will never get to rev to those high numbers unless they hit a track or else on the streets it'll sound like your racing from one stop light to the next. The only upside from these 2.0 liters in my experience is MPG.

Toyota said the engine is free revving, but they never say that it's high end torque or something like that. There was once, people driving 50-100hp, with 100 lb ft or torque or else, they still can make it, why can't you?
Why don't see do some research on Boxer engine?
