For me, these 4 were priority for me and needed to be done a.s.a.p. haha

Window Tint (Day 1)
Toyota Emblems
Spoiler
Axel-Back Exhaust

I also added a drop in filter, but that wasn't a priority, and all the future mods are not either. Just parts i want, not priority.

Oh just noticed, another day 1 mod, remove sound tube haha

Cosmetic mods can most certainly be planned ahead but how can anybody possibly know (not be told but KNOW) what performance mods they want before ever spending some time in the car?

Well there are certain performance mods that you can decide on without ever seating in the car. Like an exhaust after hearing the car most want it louder, wheels and tires which is both a visual and performance upgrade with you get lighter wheels and gripper tires. Springs and coils can fall under visual and performance upgrade also.

100% agree although in my head most of those are cosmetic mods to most people.
I was more focused on FI, clutch upgrades, different brakes, etc when I was talking "performance".

If you have track experience the stock brake pads and fluid are a dangerous recipe at an HPDE.

There are 1,000 variables yes. But even upgraded brakes mean nothing without seat time to know how to use them.

my favorite mod is hands down the JDL UEL header. Sounds awesome with a Q300.

Other than that it's probably the tom's red tails that make the biggest difference so far to me. In the spring i'll do lowering springs/coils and wheels and tires though. That is if there's not a potential rx-7 revival / new Z that looks promising announced, lol. Then all car parts will be on hold to see what those are like first.

True I only really consider the wheels and tires to be a performance upgrade. Gripper tires really make a big difference for this cars.
