I just wanted advice on people that were running different systems on how they like theirs. To compare and what not to make a final decision. And yes I'm a real person believe it or not. Do you want to see my military ID or something to prove my existence? Ooooo how about you look me up on Facebook! Yeah totally my name is Samantha Edwards. Before you attack a person get your facts straight please. I've meant no harm and even apologizing for coming off too strong.
Here's the thing though even if you aren't a spammer account you are spreading misinformation like never before:
-you say it's a Full custom kit (It's not custom, it the same shit kit that's been rebadged over and over again once people start to figure out it's crap)

-Steamspeed website doesn't even have any names associated with it or any address or phone number or geolocation (In fact it looks like a site that was thrown together in an hour and looks far from legit, if it is the design does nothing to drum up business, who is the owner, where are they based out of, how many years have they been in business, etc.)

-Like another said the fact that they are associated with Visconti raises several red flags (possibly some small fires )

-If you truly do have questions about what people are running then: (surprised no one has done this yet )

- you keep saying it's because i'm a girl when no one even mentioned anything about it they are wary because the no post history and promoting of a product that is known to be sub par claiming it is new and custom when in fact it is old, off the shelf and crappy

-Lastly you say you have looked at greddy and other name brands kits? why then are you not going with any of these brands as opposed to the 3rd rate turbo kit that is untested/tested to be crap? Why not go with one of those reputable brands?

If you are not a spammer then I expect to received an answer to my question. (yes that is only there so u answer my question)

No hate towards you. I'm more leaning towards the people that called me out for being spam. I appreciate you're help and I've actually been looking at the different kits! I've never heard of zage kits before so when they told me it was customized for my car of course I believed them! Haha thank you for the input though I'm definitely going to look more into other kits. Sorry for the misunderstanding in the beginning. In the end we are all either trying to go faster lower or louder. Haha or all three.

-in accordance to the other turbo kits and why I didn't go with them. It's a little bit cheaper than the other brands.

-yeah I apologize for coming off strong as I've said previously stated but I'm just super excited about making my car faster lol i was more seeing if anyone else has tried the company or whatnot.

That is very true! It's probably way easier to install and more reliable! Everyone always tells me I should supercharge it. I've been stuck on turbo for so long! Might as well just go with a 2jz single turbo! Like Ryan tuercks car!

That's fine, also shaky gets a little out there sometimes (also doesn't know what "nominal" means that's right shaky I went back lol at least I think that was shaky I was arguing with).

At the end of the day the choice is yours to make and yours only but my advice for forced induction is you get what you pay for, not saying a cheaper kit is going to blow but you are opening the door for more things to go wrong and as anyone who has had a turbo system will tell you, things will go wrong (might be minor or major but something eventually fucks up).

I for one am of the opinion that turbo's add a lot of possible failure points so you shouldn't skimp out on parts that move (because it adds more possible failure points) (bov, wastegate, etc.) and unfortunately, that is where most of these cheaper kits cut their price so make sure that the parts that move are well made and free from any defects.(That is also why I love Superchargers less possible points for failure, so more reliable, but you get less out of them due to the parasitic loss).

Anyways good luck with your project and hope that all goes well for you

Thank you. I'm probably just gonna lay low on here after all this. Thank you for the help. I'm definitely going to look more into superchargers now.

Check out the Edelbrock & JRSC kits (superchargers), very reputable companies. Conservative and emissions legal.

Still havent heard of any engine failures on the JRSC kit.

Don't get upset by all the keyboard warriors and angry people overcompensating for whatever reason no need to go into hiding Just brush em off and tell yourself they are trying to make others miserable because they themselves are miserable.

Jackson Racing kit does indeed seem to be bulletproof. I for one have a Kraftwerks C38 kit on mine and it performs flawlessly at this point (yes people are snapping belts but that's just user error).

I normally don't wade into the FI board, but this was originally posted on the main BRZ board.

Here's how I know this is spam: "Girl" posts a spammy sounding message about a no-name speed shop making turbos. She gets a response that mentions that this speed shop is associated with a known problem tuner whose work is so bad he actually catches people's cars on fire.

Now, what would the first reaction for most people be? Most normal people would say, "Holy shit! Tell me more about this guy! Maybe I should rethink this before burning my car to the ground!"

But not this person. Instead she tries to incite the white knights by claiming she's getting picked on because she's a girl (which is utter bullshit and she knows it), then goes right back into selling the product. To me, that seems like a completely unreasonable reaction, unless this person already knows about the Visconti connection because she IS the vendor or works for him.

Claiming to be a girl doesn't change it. Claiming to be military doesn't change it. Even giving a name doesn't change it. Spammers do all those same things when they create these online personas, but they usually out themselves with their overly enthusiastic selling of the product. Because this is the internet, and you can say you're just about anybody.

After all, I'm a French model. Bon jour.
