If someone adds a spoiler to the car should they have found a different car too? The only reason people tend to complain about the performance aspect is because people want factory/warrantied performance. They don't want to take the plunge into it post market.
I hear where he is coming from and think you took things to a higher level.
People buying these cars should know they are 200hp and not "fast". They should come into it understanding that it will cost them much more if they want huge power increases. If they are not prepared to spend that money then they need to live with it or should have bought something else. There are loads of options out there.
Complaining about the performance because you want more factory power does not change the fact that you knowingly bought the car with the power it has.
In the OP's case he has spent a pile of money on things that do not improve the performance to any degree and is now asking what it will cost to get where he wanted. A little too late for that. He also recognizes that he may need to change cars to get what he is after which is commendable and possibly his best bet.

Feeling fast is subjective. I'd say you'd need FI and a built motor with supporting mods to make the car feel fast.

It should have "felt" fast to you off the dealer floor.

Anybody else notice the OP asked the question and then never once responded? Guess it was rhetorical right from the start.

I'm willing to bet he's either on another ft86 forum or NASIOC complaining about how the people at ft86club.com are jerks. I'm sort of hoping NASIOC, because that will blow up in his face faster than a rear ended mid 70s Ford Pinto (or early to mid 2000s Jeep, apparently).

There are other FT86 forums?
Ones that are not desolate wastelands?

Not sure. I looked at a few, but then sighed heavily and closed the tab when I saw a dedicated "BRZ STI" sub-forum.

If it doesn't feel fast after that then sell it and get something with a turbo or V8.

Edit: You're in Wisconsin, Road America is one of my bucket list tracks, make it happen.
Did Road America many times, also BIR, in my NSX... Maybe that's the problem always seem to compare this car to my old Acura...

Excellent reply and you have restored my faith!
Have any idea how many guys make a post like yours, get everybody riled up and then disappear? Really starts to make people wonder sometimes.

Have you not tracked the FRS yet? Maybe that will resurrect your interest in the car.
