Sounds doable, please tell.
12V in glove----->12V battery---->dashcam

The way the glove is wired to the fuse box is that it's on during ignition only. The battery charges when the car is on, and it doesn't cycle when it's fully charged. When the car is off, the dashcam draws from the battery until there's no more juice.

B. can't wait until Volvo starts selling cars that drive themselves so these people avoid driving.

This guy's screwed up really bad man lol.
Interesting, because as far as I know, the Ontario HTA doesn't apply in parking lots. So there would be no points given out. And unless you're going after him in court, or he doesn't want to go through insurance now that you know who it is, it would be his insurance company paying out, unless of course they dropped him after this happened.

If I'm the ruler of a country I would outlaw automatic transmission, that way drivers will need some level of concentration on the roads.

But Don't all manual drivers say that after a little bit, shifting becomes automatic and you don't need to think about it? I text, eat and drink while driving my AT, and did the same with my old car which was an MT.

The elitist attitudes due to transmission choices on here make me lol

Yes I'm serious. The highway traffic act does not apply to private parking lots unless the owner of the property has asked the police to enforce them there.

People who own up to their mistakes simply aren't shitty people.

Before you start talking shit on other drivers, maybe you should familiarize yourself with the rules of the road. If you're the best driver in the world, that doesn't mean a thing on a public road if you don't know the rules that the HTA sets forth, you're just as dangerous as someone driving an AT car.

Oh great so everybody would coast down hills in neutral, roll back on the slightest incline, take their eyes off the road to stare at a tach, forget to set the parking brake and roll onto the street and just in general create shear chaos.

^^THIS^^
I have been driving standards (shit, long enough I still call them "standard") from 3 speed VWs to 24 speed trucks and might as well be driving an AT for all the attention I pay to my shifting. It just sort of happens on it's own with absolutely zero thought given. When I try to answer questions here I have to go out and drive while paying very close attention to what I am actually doing.
This whole "increased awareness" and "better feel for the road" crap is just bunk that is spewed by noobs that have just started driving MT or (like Berg said) feel they are elite in some weird, deranged way.
Sure there are some minor benefits (i.e. launch) to MT but there are just as many benefits to modern ATs. We are not talking the old 2 speed slush bucket ATs that used to be in cars anymore so the majority of the MT benefits no longer exist.

Hey Bergen
I didn't mention that I'm da best driver or smth lol where did you find those sentences from? I was just saying that if someone hit other's car then they have to take responsibilty even if it's minor a scratch or dent. Fixing or not fixing is need to be determined by victims not the hitter.

and Yes, I dont know all details of HTA rule but I still know that you have to take responsibility if you impaired someone's property instead of being ****head then runs away.

It was an example. And if the "hitter" isn't caught, it's 100% on the victim to pay for things.

You obviously need to do far more research into this.

So high and mighty. I had a friend commit suicide with a pistol he owned. Ban guns everyone! I had a friend paralyzed in an accident with a drunk driver. Ban beer everyone! Do you adjust your radio, or your climate controls while driving? What about taking a sip of that coffee? If a cop wanted to, he could charge you with distracted driving for all those things.

Just a shitty day at work. I'm currently staring at 19 pallets with around 3200 pounds of coke and I can't do anything with it
