The stock catback will, at some point, restrict your flow and exhaust efficiency.

It muffles sound by way of small piping and restrictive baffles. Maybe okay for daily drive but not ideal if you are trying to make power or otherwise doing more than just an exhaust.

If you want sound, a Berk muffler delete is the way to go. Or make your own straight pipe for cheap.

If you want more than just sound, and want a quality note... then you start looking at different options. Fujitsubo is for those who want OEM-like quality.

Hey, when you ran the Fujitsubo header with the exhaust, did you run with a tune? Cause i remember you posted somewhere that you still got the CEL code even though the header was catted.

Cause i plan to run the header and exhaust (everything else stock) and use a OFT stage 1 tune. Would i still get CEL code pop up?

Initially I did get a CEL, and yes I ended up getting a tune to get rid of it.

You can run the stage 1 tune. Might get a CEL, but you can disable the code (p0420, i THINK) in RomRaider. Takes about 30 seconds to do it.

A HFC =/= stock cats. It is less efficient, so no matter how much a company tries to hype their cats as not resulting in a CEL, they're liars.

Did you do OFT or custom?
Also, you never did a review on the header, but how did the gains feel? I felt gains with the catback and thought it was worth it. Are the gains similar (greater) ?

That's great to hear
Plan to do that since the OFT has a great price point and heard good things about the stage 1 tune.

I don't like to speculate on butt dyno. It made decent gains but I did not post any dynos as I was not at liberty to talk about it.

On a Dynapak it was tuned with ECUTek.
