Facebook is not the place to determine individual ETA's. Hence the request to send selling dealer and configuration information (trans/colour) to info@scionnation.ca. Scion will then work with the selling dealer to determine an accurate ETA where a VIN is available. The selling dealer will then follow up with their FR-S customer.

Stempy is right (also he's got a pretty good connection to Scion), it's not the place to determine ETAs. But Stempy Facebook is the only place any of us have gotten anything more than "it'll be here in a week." I realize that you guys are trying to get them out as fast as possible to owners, but I think that we've got every right to mark up Scion and our dealers public profiles on this one. I think that you guys shouldn't look squeaky clean when this is all said and done. Particularly the dealerships. If they don't have the information the correct response is "we don't have the information" not "whatever lie I feel like giving you to get you off my case at this particular moment". It's unfortunate that we are at this point with Scion, but its not like you guys didn't have the chance to make this one right. It was Scion Corporate that called the date as "June 4th", that's not the dealership's fault that you guys didn't have the supply chain logistics figured out. If you want to put the lack of cars getting to their destination on the CP strike that's equally bogus, you guys could have at any point in the last two weeks said "Listen, we're really sorry, some unforeseen stuff has come up. In the mean time lets all chill and we'll get your cars to you as soon as we can." Instead it seems like you guys chose to tell the dealers nothing, and then have made the attempt to try and deal with each case as if there isn't a whole population of other FR-Sers out there that are equally frustrated. Why not a public apology? Why not try and treat us like the complaints that we're making is something more than a bunch of impatient fanboys? If Scion wants to make it right put a message up on your Facebook page that gives everyone some answers and the apology that we deserve for the general lack of communication. I don't think any of us are being unreasonable, do you, does Scion?

I just happen to catch that one as the car hauler was pulling out...hence the chase shot. The trucker must have thought I was nuts...maybe he's right.

Regardless I hope it's yours as well!

ANTiSOViET is right on this Stempy, all we want is some news, for example the next shipment of cars are coming in on certain date, and we will do our best to ship the cars to buyer who already placed a deposite before June instead of giving the vehicle to a new buyer that place deposite just a week ago.

So Scion Canada did have an affect. but still Mid July was my closet delievery date for a White 6MT.

with that being said, since last week I had already begun speaking with a different dealership in calgary and it brings me pleasure to say The boys @ Stampede Toyota are on top fo there game and im now expecting deleivery of my car early next week, if im lucky it will be end of this week. I will make a new posting in regards to Stampede Toyota in calgary when I have more time,

As for Scion Canada, all tho not what I wanted to hear, the second they got involved I did get answers and from what my old dealer told me they took is very seriously is doing there best to make things better for me. So to those of you that have an unknow status I would email them and ask them to give you an ETA.

When you contacted Scion Canada, did you have a VIN already?
I put in my order on June 5th but my dealer does not know when it will come in nor do they have a VIN available for me.
I ordered an Asphalt 6MT. The ones that my dealer are getting have all been AT models. Haven't seen a MT model yet

My dealer/sales person spent at least 50% of the call he "had to make" that "he didn't know about until this morning" blaming Scion Canada. Way to be a good person. I know you don't have the answers and are frustrated that I went over your head and mentioned you in person negatively on the internet...but maybe you shouldn't have been such as putz and asked the same questions everyone was asking you to someone that might be able to find an answer.

Also, for those of us in Calgary that were expecting in the last two weeks I do have some news. Scion had to reroute using CN during the strike, and they are currently having the cars taken by train to Edmonton, and now they are shipping them to Calgary via truck (Red Deer guys, this means that you might be getting them the same route). I was told that my car should be in Calgary sometime Wednesday (the status is "Truck Transfer" right now) so delivery and PDI I am hoping by the weekend.

Out of all of this I know I am still falling for the slick line from Scion Canada, I really want to believe I've only got a few days until my car gets here. I still maintain that this is an incredibly shitty way to treat your customers (Scion and Country Hills, you are both to blame) and I don't think I'll forget the disappointment my dealership experience has been (good fucking luck getting to do service) I will probably forgive some of the torment once I am bombing around in something other than a 92 Volvo 240 (it's RWD...that makes it a sports car right?)

isnt the 240 like equivalent to 4000lbs back in the day or something ridiculous like that?

yeah just under 2 tons....she's a beast and of the 114 horses she originally came with I would say that at least half have fled the stable.

Also they got me the VIN, they had much more info than my dealer did. But now the dealer is up to speed as well. Communication is fun when there is actual information passing back and forth.
