I have been running an oil cooler for two years now, with a fair bit of track time. I have never drained the cooler. I just changed the oil like normal. The only thing I have done is shorten the intervals a bit. I just had my first UOA done on oil that ran three track days and it was beautiful.

Take the guesswork out of it. Get a UOA.
