You oughta know by now that I enjoy the subtle satire and the response to that obvious joke question required a semi formal answer. If I had had more time at that point I would have copied a bunch of tech info and attached it to make it even more like one of the "I will answer every dumb question with a long technical answer" guys.

The older model S2000's used to have a traditional key AND a push button. You turned the key to ACC then hit the push button, problem solved (and all the negatives of push button start).

In order to avoid future confusion I shall incorporate the safe word "aardvark" into any such reply so you will know!

Have you guys tried re-wiring the radio straight to the battery instead of the switched power? It will solve all your problems I promise you.

why not just sit in the car idling for another minute while you let that jam on the radio come to an end.

I know what he's talking about here. If you push the button once all of your electronics will turn on but it will shut off again after about 10 minutes. If you push it twice everything comes on and stays on, including the fans and all that jazz, which significantly reduces the battery life. I left mine in that mode to listen to music while working on my car and it lasted about 60 minutes and then I had to get a jump from my Jeep.

It sounds like someone needs an OPTIMA battery.
