Thin Paint on FRS Release Series 1?

This is why I tell everyone, apply Xpel film day one of ownership. Minimum to bumoer, fenders and hood. Paint stays minty for life that way.

It's not obvious because the OP was complaining about a stone chip to the front bumper. What the hell does imperfections on the rest of the car have to do with anything?? Yes the paint is soft, yes it will chip on areas not protected with paint protection film, and yes it can even chip with paint protection film...thanks captain obvious!!

Whoa chill out homie lol. You proudly let us know that your car doesn't have a single stone chip. I'm saying that's impossible if the only FRP protected area is your front end.

I have found 5 chips and 3 of them were right through the film.
Now granted, I may have had 100 without the film!

Fo sho, I'd also hate to think what my number would look like without it. Wish I would've done my headlamps, I have a nasty chip in it.
