I love the manual transmission. This is my first manual and it makes my daily drives soo much more engaging. The whole level of coordination that's required between your feet and timing your shifts makes a dull commute rewarding. Also, the mechanical sounds it makes when you shift it in 1st about to take off from a red light about to turn green. Initially I was put off by the loud clunky sounds coming from the transmission everytime i shift but now it just adds to the car's character.

I can fit my Finnish m27 in the trunk without folding down the backseat. Try to do that in a S2000 or a Miata.

It is such a willing and playful thing. I love how you can just chuck it into a corner confidently and repeatedly time and time again. I haven't tried to read a book while drifting yet though.
That, and it isn't hard on the eyes either. There's usually at least someone daily admiring the car (excluding myself).
I know, that isn't only one thing, but, I couldn't help it.

what i like most are those random nights you're driving home listening to your music really loud and you realize grateful you are to have the opportunity to drive this car and how happy you are from making the decision to buy this car instead of another one. How fun it is... to change lanes... to turn at high speeds... despite all those negative vibes your family give you for being selfish for basically driving a impractical, rear wheel drive, two seater...

The car is a unique blend. Rwd, 4 seats, and under 3000lbs. How many cars made today have all of those characteristics?

before i got the Fr-s, i would occasionally have the privilege of driving my dad's s2000 and quickly realized the cult following behind it was well deserved.

but yes, the fr-s has less power, but it is just as agile in the bends and turns, which pleases me immensely because i love driving more in the intuitive sense. im confident to say that anyone who has driven an s2k knows its a car that rewards drivers that can hold the reins in and control its spirit animal which has no bounds as to the limits of our imagination

therefore that's why i really love the fr-s while it's driving due to how responsiveness the steering wheel makes me feel very welcome as though long lost friendship has been rekindled

ps: sory im stone, not sure if it makes sense but i believe so

It fits me perfectly. It's just the right size for me, it's got the lines I love, it wasn't so expensive that I had to ignore paying off my student loans or anything, and it's got a ton of potential for modding down the line. Also it makes even the most dull drives a bit more lively, and great drives are incredible in it.

Stone post more often because that sh** is poetic. OP, after all the whiney 'doesn't have power, lousy wheels-tires, etc.' posts this thread is like a breath of fresh air. Roll on fellow FR-S drivers, roll on.

Think you misinterpreted the "I'm Stone" part.
Although I do completely agree with the rest of what you said and it is rather poetic for on here!
