+1 for the beatsonic phone holder. I use it for a note 3 and have had absolutely no issues. It was kind of pricy but it was custom fitted for the FRS and brz. Very easy to install and you never ever have to worry about suction cups or adhesives ever again.

That just mount on the CD slot and your phone will be right in the middle of the center air vents at about the same level also. I really like it a lot since its very easy to reach

I put mine in front of the stick shift. There is an indention around the rim of the stick shift and I rest my phone there. It's good for using a big phone as a GPS.

I put my Galaxy S5 in the center console tray. The cubby under the climate control is reserved for my wallet, because I hate sitting on it while driving.

yes. But don't use the adhesive that comes with it, get some of that 3M body panel double sided tape stuff, and it will NEVER fail you. LOVE my magic mount. 10/10 would buy again and recommend to everyone.

My ultimate goal is to get a phone mount for the dash and use the damn thing as a HUD.
I have a 1520 as well. Great phone.

Strong recommendation for this if you have a stereo with a CD player.

I rotate the phone landscape and then use this app "Car Dash" (with the space in between words) as a head-unit.
