Also, I may be being too particular here but, the exhaust is not WRX or STI tips. The exhaust is from a base 2.5. 170 horsepower + Yamaha head work = 200 hp?

so going of that, can anyone who is good at PS have a measure of the rims to see what the bolt pattern is.. not that it will be the same for production..
zigzad, is there a chance that the new subaru engine is the one with the toyota heads??
I thought Subaru went to 5 X 114.3 on all their cars now? If that's incorrect, I do know that they've been expanding the models that use it (started with the STI, now the WRX too...).

I would say odds of 5 X 114.3 are pretty good, as it's pretty much the universal 5 bolt pattern these days.

But Subaru does still like higher offsets than 'normal'.

Im pretty sure that 5x114.3 is standard on all newer forester/impreza/Legacy.
Its also the same size as what the SVX came with.

Nope, they still make 5x100 on lower models. But you're right, my bet is on 5x114.3 bolt patterns

I don't know where you're getting the idea this mule has 200hp from, or that it has a Yamaha-worked engine, but whatever.

All Impreza Sedans have that dual exhaust muffler (probably not including new STI Sedan), for 2008 when I bought my WRX the tips that you think of as "WRX tips" were only part of the premium package (also included ground effects).

The 200 hp was just a guess, and what people have been saying for the base NA engine. Toyota is definitely working on the engine though..we've known that for a while.

Ah, never mind then.

more detailed info and pics by car and driver

http://www.caranddriver.com/news/spi...os-future_cars

It actually can't be any other Subaru road car, because all Subaru road cars currently manufactured have the brake calipers mounted aft of the front hub. That goes for all models of Impreza and Legacy. This car has the brake calipers mounted in front of the hub and so does the Toyota FT-86 concept. In fact, they're mounted in exactly the same position.

Are you sure bout that?

& no, I didn't photoshop this pic. As you can see, on the front caliper, it's front of hub. If you don't believe me, here's the actual site. Subaru Forester
