They've put that on almost all of the first run cars in this area. I think there are maybe 30% that don't have it. Luckily the font is the same color as my car. :B

Got the car this morning, and we took our first trip to the coast. Put about 200 miles on it. Like others said the car may be lacking in power, but man can it handle. I did notice some rubber that had built up on the fenders from the tires. We did not do any sliding or squealing of tires.

here is a pic of the rubber, and some of my girl sitting in her new baby.

and her custom plate frame

If I ignore the Scion-ness and focus on seeing it as a Toyota 86, it's nice to see one sitting beside a Celica. Thanks for the pics.

Paying for options you don't want is what the car buying experience is all about! LOL

She looks super happy. Let her know there are a bunch of super jealous people on the internet right now. :P

Did you guys drive down to Santa Cruz? Which roads did you take? I'm trying to map out a sweet drive to take when mine gets in.

Makes me laugh about Scion and their so called "one model with no options", they still have them, just less of them. They still try to sneak in options you don't want. Still have to watch out with them. Oh Scion.... you haven't fooled me.

So true. In reality, mono-spec and mono-price just means we can't negotiate a lower price and we can't get the quality trim or options we want that Toyota offers everywhere else in the world. It's

Next week is a while, when everyone is getting theirs, isn't it?
