Thanks a lot for your feedback all. I went to couple of skid pans and everything was so hot in the engine bay, no overheating issues though. Planning to do a bit more now that I have the mods installed, so a cooling system might be a good thing. An oil cooler might be another thing to look at I guess. I like the robispec and fbm ones so far. Well built and good quality.

Another thing that would go a long way for cooling off the engine bay would be something like:

I saw a few different vented hoods and the VIS AMS hood looked to have the most venting area. Big holes.
All the other vented hoods had small slits for openings. Quote:

There was that heat shield for the front of the engine as well, the thread is fairly new, it's around here somewhere I'm just too lazy to find it

WOW!
I'd say you got really lucky. Great product (probably the best for our cars) but I and many others have had real trouble contacting him after paying. I finally got mine after a long wait, not sure (it was a while back) but I hope the others finally got theirs too. Robi makes great stuff no doubt. |

Really lucky indeed!
I waited months for my Robispec cooling system, I know a reason for the delay was because of the new plate.

Just wanted to slightly correct your statement. I used to have a Robispec radiator, 2 actually. Now I'm running a Koyo radiator and JR NA oil cooler.
Robi designed the radiator, but another shop manufactures it.

I am working on a functional side vent in CF with air duct, but that is far off finishing. So far Mishimoto, Robispec and FBM are the top ones by the looks of it, not in this particular order however! |
