Given that the body doesn't really differ that much from the USDM version, there's a pretty solid chance that this will be seen over here too. Yes, the tailpipes are different, but that's because of silly US regulations regarding exhaust pipes. Hopefully there arent any silly regulations involving radio antennas.

USDM is a unique market.

in the US, Sat Radio is popular. Everywhere else.... Not so much.

Does that Shark fin, fit a USDM antenna?
If it doesn't, will they produce one just for the US market?

Just wait and see.

Just wanted to chime in and say that the Beat Sonic shark fin antennas are now available through Toyota dealerships via the Toyota Associated Products program. There was an email sent out to all the parts managers.

I know it's not JDM or made by Toyota, but being in the OP, Toyota backs it.

I think beatsonic is JDM, not OEM JDM but JDM none the less.

Yes Hope it's just a photo or at least there still will be a choice. Dark headliner is #1 requirement for any car I buy.

Is a different exhaust or just the tips? Can I get just the tips?

Nevermind: I did a search!

The headliner sure does look gray, and is that the "HomeLink" or whatever POS mirror people complain about all the time? LOL, the 13/14 is going to be the definitive version. It can only go downhill from here.

Since it's JDM does that mean you have to drop the roof liner? What's the likihood they'd keep the old antenna mount just to have this sit over it like a aftermarket shark fin?

Plus those of us with silver ignition will have to have it painted to match, go with Raven, or stick with an aftermarket shark fin?

if its anything like the tS sharkfin, you're going to have to drop the roof liner and lose your Satelite Radio.

So basically

-stiffer suspension
-a slightly-more-realistic-looking fake CF trim
-a sharkfin antenna (which will increase aerodynamics)

Nothing to write home about. Hopefully people will learn to calm down with model year upgrade speculation.

I wonder how much wind tunnel and computer time was spent calculating the aero bennies of that antenna?
