I try to give a wave or a thumbs up, but get mixed feedback. Some people respond back and others don't even notice, or at least pretend like they don't...

I flashed my high beams the other day... and he flashed me back!

Hmm, that sounds dirtier than I expected.

Wave.

And I don't think I've ever missed a sighting. I even see them when they're going the opposite direction on the other side of the freeway.

I always give the thumbs up. Even turning on my interior lamp at night to show fellow 86twins my thumbsup lol.

If we happen to be going the same direction, I always stay close and cruise till somebody turns off. I recall one time where me and some random asphalt FRS cruised back and forth passing each other for like 40 minutes lol. It's a rare sight to see your car in action so what better way than to watch someone elses 86- knowing you're in the same sexy car

I do the same thing for every other sports car (mustangs don't count), I throw a peace sign at them. If its a classic muscle car, thumbs up (only mustang I acknowledge are fastbacks). 90% Of the time FR-S/BRZ owners will wave back. I get the stone faces from time to time, but they'll pace me without looking my way for some reason. Other then that I'll get WRX/STi owners ask me what I think about it and how it handles. I'll tell them its a dream machine that needs a turbo lol.

BUT, I see them pretty frequently, but it is usually on the highway going the opposite direction as myself, and I always notice them too late to do anything.
I usually stare, and smile, but I have tinted windows, so I don't think they'd be able to see anyway,

Did have one guy in a twin (when I first got mine) that had his windows down stare me down as he drove by while I was stopped. It caught me so off guard I bet it looked like I was glaring at him, lol.

I saw one in town and I honked at him.
Weird story. Drove to a Dutch Bros the other day about half n hour from where I was. I pulled in and sure enough a freakin' white FR-S pulls in right behind me. What're the odds? I hardly ever see FR-S's around here. It's the second one I've seen. Also, same day, while I was driving down the road I saw my PT Cruiser that I sold for sale. Weird coincidence.
