Different Scion Badges
Hey, while you're looking things up
does Scion list black Scion badges with white lettering in their catalog (see below)? Or maybe black Toyota badges that are direct replacements? I'd really like to black them out. Plan to do it manually eventually but I'm lazy enough to pay for different ones (plus then I can retain the stock ones).

I wish we could, but Southeastern Toyota will not bring in parts from the Japanese and European market.

mud guards
Those mud guards are a pain in the ass to put on. Instructions (not included) would have probably been helpful. And since it required drilling holes in the plastic right next to the tire, all tires had to be pulled to do it.
They look good. It would be good if they were more secure as they flex alot. Its not that the mud guard isn't attached to the lower panels insecurely. It's that the lower panels flex a whole bunch down there next to the tires. So in summary: if you have the opportunity to have the dealership put them on for same price (i.e. buy it with the car), do so. You'll save yourself some time. No pictures required as (a) it's dark by the time I'm done and (b) someone already posted pictures on the asphalt car above. |
