Its just a sticker basically. A hairdrier might help to soften it and make it easier to remove.

Ill do something similar to what StutterButter said. I plan on putting a piece of 3M clear wrap in its place though just for protection.

Some dude from Toyota showed up at the car show I was at in an Asphalt FRS with appliqué on it. It's not as bad as I thought. I won't be able to really see the logo on my car since it's an Argento one and the same color as the text. So I'm debating just leaving it.

I have it coming on my BRZ, I believe it was $80 or so. My previous cars have been scratched numerous times taking things in and out of the trunk.

I have it on my Ultramarine and it really isn't that bad, but I golf and will use my trunk as I tend to drop golf balls out of my bag...this part of the bumper is a direct hit. It sounds like I got good options at the port...bumper applique, wheel locks and cargo mat. At least the floor mats came with the car. I thiink someone said they got an ashtray...lol. WTF is that all about.

Did anyone else get a complimentary coin holder in their cup holder? Thought that was funny.

Yeah. I managed to get stuck with the Ashtray option on my Ultramarine FRS but it also came with the cell phone/coin holder. I figured the coin/phone holder and audio cord was standard.

Wait...audio cord!? I didn't get that...I don't think I did. Ok, I need to check because I have 250 miles on my FR-S, first tank of gas just down and I haven't had a day off since I bought it to rummage through the glove box and other parts of the car.

Entire family is out of town this weekend and its gonna be a hot one on Phoenix so I will be in the garage detailing the fleet.

Check the glovebox. That's where mine was located. Discovered it when putting the registration in there.

Has anybody removed the rear bumper appliqué? If so, what's the best way?

Seems like draping something like a $4.00 Walmart towel over the lip and bumper when taking stuff in or out of the trunk would solve the scratching problem without paying for an expensive (and arguably tacky) sticker on the car.
