That funky green thing is pushing it past the limits! Now that's ... ugly green, pink wheels and a pink striped tires! You can only do so much to a car before you make it look ugly! You young cats have a very odd way of thinking stuff is cool! Can somebody explain this... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() EDIT: Although.. in a search for "rusty hood trend", I came up with this.. ![]() Which I actually rather like. It's not rusty, of course, because I can't think of a way that would look good... but my search did lead me to something nice. Last edited by Lexicon101; 05-08-2010 at 12:02 AM. ^^^ That's how they start. They scrape all the paint off the hoods, and then throw chemicals on them to get the desired rust. Sometimes they paint logos, patterns, or numbers on the bare metal before applying the chemicals.
I think chemical rusting is silly. Original paint fade can be said to add character to a ride. ![]() ...but intentionally rusting up parts of your perfectly good ride just to be trendy, seems really stupid to me. But, to each his own. sidenote: Funny how this thread started off about VIP cars. :P

Don't rust the bitch up! (Course.. I probably wouldn't even do that to my car, and DEFINITELY wouldn't rust it on purpose.. but I still like the way it looks.) |

Right -- Beautiful - I love that. I don't like huge camber, I like it flush. (I think the tires like it better that way too) Wrong -- Yak worthy alright, I yaked a little in my mouth

Final semester of undergrad college happened. Got my bachelor's just a few days ago though.
My father's grad present was taking my brothers '06 Fusion off his hands (payments) and giving it to me. Looks like I have a great candidate for a trade-in when the FT-86 comes out! ![]() Until then I finally have a reliable, nice car that I can do all the driving in, and be able to get to work restoring my beloved AE86. |
