The only thing I'd add to your list would be used 911s. You can probably get a 996 for less than a BRZ if you think you can stomach the higher running costs. Sure, they have tacky interiors (unironically worse than the BRZ's), but bitches won't care because it has a Porsche badge. It'll have more power than the BRZ, is RWD, has the same spare "seats" in the back, and would generally be a nice car. Downsides are the smaller cargo space, higher maintenance costs, no warranty, possibility of grenading engine (get one with the RMS/IMS issues sorted or with a lot of miles on it), and you'll be a 20-something driving a Porsche.

I never though about that the only 911 I saw were in the 50K. I do love the old ones thanks though I'll check them out right now. You seem to know exactly how most women in the 20s work ! Always with the brand.

I think the summary of the thread at this point is -

1. if you want something exotic looking and good handling and don't want to be broke as a joke (cuz porsche upkeep will get you over time esp since you're looking at high mileage out of warranty) get the BRZ
2. if you want something that works for Canada, get some other form of Subaru (turboed)
3. porsche > all of these choices if money and snow and w.e. didn't matter hahaha

Ill be curious to see what the Monogram costs once in production. Too bad you couldn't find a 10 series. That silvery blue is a really amazing color under the right lighting.

If it were me of those 3 - new WRX hands down. Practical, fast, warranty, and the new one isn't terrible looking.

In all seriousness though, I would get the 86. Insurance, maintenance, consumables etc are all going to cost a lot less, it's more practical than a Cayman, and it's still a good looking car. If looks are important to you, FWIW I definitely get more looks driving around in my BRZ than I do driving around in our 911 or 135. The only car I've driven that gets as many looks is our Lotus, and you definitely don't want one of those as an only car (also, bitches will think it's awesome* until you try to make them get in or out of it, and then they'll hate it and you). People seem to confuse the 86's with exotics or something for some reason.

* Disclaimer: bitches will actually never think that it's awesome, because bitches don't care about cars.

If you want AWD and you want a bit of power oversteer, go with the Evo X. The active torque vectoring will let the rear hang out just a bit under power. It's also a lot sharper than the STI in stock form.

I used to own an STI. It might be rear-biased, but it won't power-oversteer without significantly more power. The fronts tires will slip first even with less than half the power going to them. They get overworked trying to steer the heavy front end and putting down power at the same time. At stock and even bolt-ons power level, all you'll get is power understeer in most circumstances.
