That's a load. People don't see other cars because they're not paying attention. Pretty much the only way not to see a car this size is for you to be RIGHT ON the ass of a big truck. What inattentive drivers often do is look right at, but through, things. You see this all the time on a motorcycle where a driver looks exactly in your direction before almost running you over.
