It fits the lines of the BRZ bumper. Sure it doesn't extend all the way down to the LED and Foglamp area but the kit is meant to look tacked on by rivets anyway.

That's the point.

That's because BRZ owners wouldn't want to be associated with people that have an inferiority complex like most FR-S owners do!

LOLZ...just playin' holmes

Seriously though, I would've bought a Monogram Series if it was available and cheaper than the BRZ Limited because the main reason for choosing the Limited is strictly for the leather/alcantara seats. Sure, I like the bumper of the BRZ more, but I wouldn't throw the FR-S out of bed for eating crackers. Both are beautiful in their own way.

It would seem to me since they are essentially the same car that it would make more sense to buy the FRS if you like the look better. Then with the extra money you save add whatever options you wanted from the BRZ. You would also have the option to get better aftermarket variants.

I wouldn't, I prefer the BRZ bumper, only 2nd to the BRZ concept car's front end. I do like the wider variety of lips for the FRS's front end.

No one said anything about changing it in the states.

It was about owners of a RPS13 (180SX) changing their front end to one off a PS13 (Silvia). It is a direct bolt-on looks-wise, except headlights had to be rewired.

I love the way that the BRZ looks and I couldn't imagine trying to make the front bumper look like the FRS. It has been done but fitment will not be perfect. If you are a perfectionist that swap will drive you nuts.

Good luck.

I'd put an frs bumper on a brz. I don't see what the big deal is. It's just a bumper swap and some wiring.

The OEM bumpers look better than 99% of the aftermarket bumpers out there.

The brz bumper has grown on me. If I got some headlights that utilized turn signals, I would consider going to a brz bumper

Ditto. If I knew scion was going to release the monogram series at the time i purchased my brz, I think I'd have waited.

Widebody was $3,000 paint and install. (about $700 of that was paintwork for the trunk and hood)
