I love Top Gear and get the list being the way it is, they're all about the entire car along with their impacts. The 86 would probably be ranked high if there were a list for the best handling cars of the past 20 years. I still can't get over the Focus ST. <----------- (Top Gear Magazine)

Not saying they should all be on their, but jesus, a ford focus and none of these icons?
Those aren't on there for good reason. The Supra/Skyline could possible have potential for a spot along with the NSX. The Silvia, MR2 and RX7 have no place though. Good cars, but not great. That on top of the fact that some of these didn't make it to England.

If you watch the show, they talk up the Focus a lot. It is a great people carrier. Ford also has a better rep in the UK than it does here and they get much better models/trims.

A couple of thoughts. . .

1. Inexcusable to omit the McLaren F1, Acura NSX, and at least one of the following: MR2, Supra, RX-7.

2. Glad I currently own 2 cars on the list.

3. Hopefully, I'll be adding a third from that list to my garage in a couple of years (GT-R).

Hahaha, some of these picks are hilarious.

Don't know about you stateside, but across the pond the Focus and Fiesta ST are very highly regarded motors. You should be proud, making a good entertaining usuable car for little money is in many ways a much bigger challenge than making a supercar for a million dollar a piece...

(my previous car was a 2013 Focus and I still think it was very good)

I don't drink the ford koolaid, owned a mustang gt in 2006 and it was nothing but a piece of shit but you have to realize how well liked ford is in the uk, for some reason they have a hard on for ford there. For an island country ford has a marketing budget that is close to what it uses for the US. Ford always tops the lists especially in compacts like the fiesta and focus over the vw golf, mini cooper, bmw 1 series etc.

Hell the ford mondeo http://www.ford.co.uk/Cars/Mondeo
has been a top family car pick in the uk for a decade or more. Back in 2000 when it looked like this
it was still a top selling car. I personally think it is one of the most boring cars on earth but hey different strokes.

Clarkson was on and on for a year and a half before he got his ford GT about how it was going to be the greatest car ever and ford this and ford that. Got it, drove it for a few months, it spent more time at the dealership than on the road and in the end ford refunded his 120k and hauled the car away. And this from the guy that made fun of hammond for buying a car with a wooden frame lol.

And hey what's wrong with the dacia sandero lol.
