Its been highlighted in many threads that Scion will be more expensive to insure compared to other brands. On the other hand, its the same car different companies, so it would be interesting to see insurance costs.
I doubt we'd see any difference right off the bat, but I plan to get comparative quotes before I'm ink-down on the BoS. As accident and infraction statistics come in, if there is a significant difference between the two due to younger drivers for the FR-S, could see a $100-200 year difference in premiums.

I find it VERY curious that that brake difference has not been mentioned anywhere else. In the US the Premium and the Limited have the same brakes. Why would they go unique for the Canadian market - makes no sense.

Sorry to barge in but it has sort of been mentioned somewhere before.

Having trouble finding it now but in the spec section of Area 86 there is a difference in brake pads between GT and GT Limited or was it between the G and GT oh i cant remember but there was definitely was a difference in there somewhere. Perhaps this is related to the different rotor sizes. Bigger rotors and better pads.

Yay more pricing goodness

Pricing seems reasonable, can't complain

Still waiting for the pricing listing for Australia. My guess is that we'll be fucked up somehow

That's Toyota, and JDM - very much doubt it will be applicable to Canadian BRZ. What the US gets we usually get.

My Subaru Salesman is pretty nice..i've dealt with him on 3 cars already...The Day they started to take money for BRZ orders, he called me ASAP to take my money over the phone. To insure I was #1 on the list.

I feel bad for some people that showed up in person to put money down thinking they'd be first.

I also feel bad for the people who've pre-ordered who won't get one this year...richmond subaru forecasts getting 4 or 5 for the YEAR..but they've taken 9 Deposits apparently....i hope they let these people know and not just string them along.

Hmm so for $1400 more (Plus tax) I'd get WRB color, LED, DRL, Nav, better seats, trunk liner, ugly silver plastic dash, and the mustache. Hmmm, this just got more confusing.

Kudos to Subaru for charging a 7% markup. That's the best they've ever done!
