rods, pistons, bearings.. but I had to buy a whole engine so that's why it's a lil more. It should be 725-800 hp. I think it's more than I'll ever use lol. 625hp was already a lot.

Everyone always uses the uses the structural excuse for the center rod, but why couldn't we just reinforce along the sides of the sunroof? This is what they do in homes and buildings ... And leaking isn't that big of a deal, honestly. Most of the installers around here have lifetime warranties for leaks.

Or someone just need to do a T Top and make tons of money.

I was somewhat toying with the idea of a non-removable polycarbonate top. Cut out some holes on both sides and lay them on top:

I know you can have polycarbonate "pressed" into shapes, but I don't know the cost on thick material - requires big machines. How is security with t-tops? I guess they have some internal latches.. but still doesn't sound that safe.

I'm sure someone could retrofit a targa top like the surpa. All it takes is time and monay!

Anything is possible, all it takes is money.

The roof on this car is just flimsy aluminum and easy enough to cut holes in.

I think the easiest way would be a t-top since it looks like our cars already have a similar roof structure as the SW20 MR2 t-top.

They could have offered this, but it goes against the whole point if the design of the car. Low cog, low weight, low price.
