Safe to run 18x9.5 +40 in the front on 1" drop? I am desperately trying to get some information on this but since they're so rarely fitted I can't seem to get the information I need

Oops! Shit, I forgot to do that. All I can tell you is that they were light, as you would expect for $3k forged wheels. They're on the car right now actually. I wrapped them with 255/35/18 Dunlop Direzza ZII's. While the wheels themselves were light, all the extra tire compared to my stock 215's have added a significant amount of weight, and the car is definitely slower in a straight line. Like, you can feel it. However, it handles like a dream now.
