He did not let me know that he had pushed the button, so I had a mini-rage fit that the trunk wouldn't open. I had to crawl through the back seat and fumble around to find the button. Works perfectly, though. I'm assuming it is a valet option or something. It's helpful in ways I guess but also a super pain in the arse.
Why didn't you just use your key? Crawling through the back seems like a pain in the ass :/

One time when I started going up a hill after a full stop, my FR-S sounded like she's going to stall. I thought I was releasing the clutch too fast and not giving enough gas, so I stepped on the clutch, gave it more gas and started releasing the clutch again. However, she wanted to stall again and it turned out I put her on the third gear instead of the first...

The automatic is designed to prevent downshifts that are dangerous to the engine. It shouldn't allow you to downshift unless it'll put you at a safe (though sometimes quite loud) RPM. If it really did this keep it in automatic until the dealer can verify that it is working properly.

To the topic, on my auto I've unintentionally downshifted during acceleration due to my weight carrying me backwards.

I went on vacation with my girlfriend and her parents back in August. I parked my car in their garage while we were gone. Her 6 month old puppy chewed the hell out of my front bumper. It has since been repaired, but the car had less than 8k miles on it at that point. I was furious.
