I don't think anyone is going to confuse an FRS / BRZ with a Ferrari, but I can see your logic lol

Those were the exact colors I was debating too, saw DGM in person first and thought it'd be the winner but....

Red if you want to smell Bacon all of the time, DGM if you want to fly under the radar.

Oh no kidding...

I have already spent days there and to an extent seen both in person (they were both FRS however)...I need to make another trip.

Also I'd make sure you see them in person, day and night. Lighting can make a decent difference for example:

DISCLAIMER: Yes that's not a BRZ, just a convenient example of big lighting differences I saw earlier today.

If it comes down to splitting hairs you might want to think about things like will you be replacing seats or adding seat covers? If so what colors will they be? Any interior color changes at all planned (dashboard, console)? It's ridiculous but what color phone case do you have right now? Do you like contrast? With the DGM it's roughly the same color all around (body, wheels, plastic trim, diffuser, etc) whereas the LR contrasts sharply and pops. You may prefer one over the other. Personally between only those two colors I'd go red, the dark grey seems a little boring for a sporty car. Good luck!

I am partial to Red. I like how the contrast would look with black accents (black wheel, aero kit, tint etc). Grey is a really nice color however but a bit boring also. other than toms headlights, I wonder if the other visual black colored mods might look on it

Red = sports car
DGM = that car that makes you do a double take when you pass by it

The red looks really nice. It does pop well with the black accents in certain areas.

I have DGM and have gotten several comments referring to it as a Ferrari and even Maserati (who makes a very nice dark grey as well). It would not surprise me if I got even more were it in the Red paint.

But I like to drive very fast at certain opportunities times, and I feel much safer from being noticed in my DGM in those circumstances. I have owned two "red" sports cars and my memory is of getting pulled over more often than any other cars I had owned (mostly sports cars) and being pissed about it. But hey, if you like the Red, you should go for it. It is a color that works well on the car. Also I would be surprised if Subaru drops the Red this year as it is a classic "sports car" color. The STI is a different shape of car entirely, but on the BRZ the red does "pop" well and show off the contours of the car very well.

Red, I have a dark grey car now and I've grown tired of the color. That never happened to me before with my previous cars....metallic red & white.
