Sorry grasshopper only god can do that. God has been kind enough to give me a long wingspan & vertical hops on my 5'5" small frame.

I don't like jumping that high no more for fear of landing wrong and spraining my ankles. Yeah, I'm a ***** like that so I just run old man game ie jumpers, fadeways, 3-pointers, and the occasional post-up.

EDIT: I have someone taking my shift tonight because I'm feeling sick. No workie for me *woot*

Scary part about jumping that high is..

Your knees start to slowly break down. Especially your meniscus (the fluid that sits inferior to the patella bone and superior of the head of the tibia) which takes a beating.

I stopped jumping that high because I started to develop knee problems. Tore the Patella ligament which makes it painful to land tough and dive for the ball. :<

Same here s2kphile, same height practically, if I tried touching the rim I'm only like a 1/2 inch away though for myself.
I can get really irritated at myself since I'm so close to at least grabbing rim than dunking... but I gave that up on that like 2 years ago.

I stopped trying to jump to my fullest capacity cause I can feel exactly what you just described. However I feel like a big man in a small body on the court, so I'll mix it up and be in the paint posting up and boxing out for rebounds.

That reminds me, you know what ticks me off a bit is when someone much taller, than I am, can't jump at all compared to someone shorter like me. It's like if I was as tall as some dudes then I'd be like McGee or Griffin last night making some nasty dunks on some fools.

Please don't talk about health in a brag thread. There's cool off-topic then there is health in an e-peen thread. This is not even funny.

okay maybe a little.

I don't jump high anymore because of my knees. But when I was 10 I was playing basketball with dudes 6'4" tall and I wasn't even 5'. Needless to say I was either dribbling the ball really low or jumping for all I was worth. So it does seem to me like the taller people are the less they jump.
