I'm sure the added rear camber from lowering has a lot to do with what you are experiencing.

Rake ...

That's referral to back being higher then front is all.

Yeah or vise versa. I see that the front is 1.1 and rear is 1.3. That sounds rake worthy.

Any more feedback? I'm also debating between these and the swifts. Will these work on factory struts like the swifts are advertised to work on factory components without compromising reliability?

Pretty much any spring that increases rate and takes travel away will effect the life of the strut, there is really no way to tell exactly how long or anything though with all the variables. If i was purchasing a set of springs right now it would be Swift BRZ springs but also would consider spending the extra on ST coilovers.

I know eventually the strut is going to go, I just want to prolong that as much as possible. Any reason why to go with the swift, the only inclination I have towards the rsr is build quality and price and it goes a tiny bit lower than the swifts. I'm just looking for something concrete to be 100 percent sold on the swifts

They are both high quality, wouldn't hesitate to go with either and the swifts are expensive for a set of springs.

haha ahh i gotcha, sorry. yeah everything ive read says it will lower the rear about 2-5mm more than the front. weather its the camber or that weight shift, the back was noticeably harder to break lose than before the spring swap.

EDIT: i use to be a bicycle mechanic and rake often refers to the fork angle, which is caster in the car world.

I got mine lowered on RSR super downs yesterday and although I've only driven about 20 miles on them I must say they feel pretty much exactly like stock just Id say it rides like 2-2.5 fingers lower than before. We'll see if they settle further but I really couldn't be happier. Will post pics when I get my 18" XXR 530s mounted this week.
