Mazda 6 Diesel should be on sale in the states by the of this year.

I know this because I want one, however with the look of the new 3, maybe I'll wait for a diesel 3.

I traded in my 04 mazda3 hatch for my FR-S I loved that car and was giving the 2013 models a serious look. Ended up deciding I wanted something completely different. Wouldn't hesitate to get another one though.

I want an AWD Mazda3. That was the one reason I chose the speed6 over the speed3.

I like the design and if they continue with the current trend the new Miata will be pretty sexy as well.

Looks very nose-heavy, with too long of a front overhang, as if it's going to tip onto its nose. Otherwise OK - for a station wagon. Maybe the proportions will look better IRL. The sedan should look better if it's as balanced as the new 6.

Yeah, I get it. I still want it, though.

Just can't do FWD

I really like that Speed3 rendering. And honestly it would probably be in the running for my next vehicle if it weren't 1.5-2 years away. At this rate though, who even knows when I'll buy another car.

That's the current word from Mazda, no new MS3. There's a hybrid Mazda3 in the works and a new diesel Mazda3 is available overseas. The new 2.5L is the only performance option coming here at this point. Since Mazda is really focusing on their corporate fuel economy.

I can't say that I am personally disappointed but I know some people will be.

I totally agree with the rear comment look way to much like a cx5

I also think the front grill should've been probably been half as big, as it is now I makes the front look a lot bigger than it should be would've looked cleaner/sleeker in my opinion if it were smaller

The CX-5, CX-9, Mazda 6 and 2014 Mazda 3 all share the some look, the KODO design. I'm hoping they implement that in the new Miata as well.

As for the grill being big, I believe that's a legal roadblock. I remember reading about there some legal design requirement (either in the US or maybe UK) where the front, top of the nose has to be a certain height for pedestrian safety. I don't why some cars can still utilize the wedge shape on the nose, maybe there's a sports car loophole or something.

no I didn't mean it was too high I meant the black part in the front could've been smaller to make the car look less like an suv, same with the back I understand the design language thing but its not an excuse for them making a "small" car look like a suv

This looks like an SUV?!

It will look even LESS like one in person, as it is lower than the outgoing 3.

Looking forward to this car (for wife!).
