Yeah, looking to see what happens. wheels are messed up anyways by Hawk brake dust, so I figured there's really nothing more I can do to ruin them lol

Didn't really get to go on any twisty roads or on any off ramps, but over train tracks it is much more settled than before. Honestly though ride quality feels even better than stock.

also ended up bringing the front end down almost 1/2", and evened out the ride height all around (13.25" from hub center to fender edge)

Are you still scheduled for Sebring this weekend? If so, please share your thoughts on the suspension! Cheers.

Glad to report the plasti-dip held up great! No peeling or anything. Even the rubber bits that stuck to the wheels came right off of the plasti-dip without it peeling.

Went great! Tires were pretty much corded by the end of Sunday, but my best and average lap times dropped by about 2 seconds. Ran the RCE recommended T2 settings for compression and rebound and they worked good. Couldn't get that great of laps in b/c of the tires, so the next event is in March and I'll have a fresh set of RS3's to run on.

Here's an overall speed comparison (speed vs. time graph) on two personal best lap times - Blue line is the best lap time on OEM suspension, Red line is the best lap time on the RCE T2s, everything else the same.

You can see that the cornering speed (the valleys) are overall faster on the coilovers than the OEM suspension. The 2:39.1 lap was actually a bit slower than I would have done due to screwing up my entrance into Turn 1.

I didn't get the 2:39.13 lap on video (GoPro battery died), but here is a 2:39.97 lap on the coilovers:

Here is a mash-up of my 2:41 on stock suspension and a 2:39 on coilovers:

Rs3's will be fun. I have 5 track events on mine and I love them. Good to hear that plastidip held up. Pretty impressive lap times just by bolting on the coilovers. Are you tuned? Any issues/concerns around the transient timing table associated with DI failures? Next mod outside rs3's?

Yeah I'm very happy with the coilovers out of the box. I'll probably do some fine tuning of compression and rebound settings when I put on the RS3s.

Nope, not tuned. Thinking of the OFT sometime down the road, maybe the FT86SpeedFactory UEL header, but we'll see. Once warranty is up I'd like to run the Jackson Racing S/C kit.

Nope, not worried about DI failure. Seems to be some isolated incident. I know a bunch of guys in our area that run their BRZ/FRS at the track and not one issue I have heard of with DI seal failure. There is a Grand Am team running a FRS, Rebel Rock Racing, who I see at the track a lot, and I have been meaning to ask them if they have had any issue at all.

Next mod is probably a decent axleback, drop in filter, radium catch can and adjustable sway bar end links.

In a year I'll probably add HVT camber plates, some 500lb springs to try out, and then as I get the money..... a Wilwood SL6 Big Brake Kit, RaceEng Lightweight Pulley Kit, FT86 SpeedFactory Catted UEL, Motiv Concepts Overpipe, Motiv Concepts Catted Frontpipe, and OpenFlash Tablet.

Those tires are screaming for mercy lol.

I have some 500-600 springs if you're interested. 2.5 ID. I'll let them go for dirt cheap as I don't have coilovers anymore.

Love the design and how it uses OEM seat belt mounting locations, however the only issue I had were the base plates. If you are tall, you will need to have the base plate out edges trimmed down by a shop that can cut thick steel, precisely.

The edge of the base plate for the "main hoop" bar that mounts right behind the seat will contact the plastic part of the seat itself if you move the seat all the way back. I had the edge trimmed on the driver's side and it worked perfectly.

Other than that little issue, which is easily remedied, definitely worth it.
