Letting it go and is like saying, hey no problem. Do it again if you want because I don't care. Good for you man, because if anyone fucked with my car, lipstick or not I would be pissed as hell. This is my hard earned money that I paid for this car. If the person's parent have any intelligence, they will discipline their child accordingly, well hopefully.

If I was that kid, I wouldn't go near your car again, since you know where I live.

I think that's a big mistake, we leave shit like this unattended and we give chances to produce people with real psychological issues (eg. Narcissistic and children with real behavioral problems). We're making too many excuses for misbehavior, some may be legitimate, some may not. There's an exception to every rule, but when you begin to reason with a 5 year old or 10 year old, or a teenager when they've done something wrong -- then there's some re-evaluation of your parenting to be done.

Children will rage quit on responsibility or respect if given the chance. I thank my parents for every beating I got, because honestly without their guidance I wouldn't be humble and probably be one of those a**hole children now with no responsibilities.

Let's see you stay calm if they disrespected your property.
I'm glad that you were able to get it taken care of through some detective work. But again, there are some things where if it's something that won't do any permanent damage or doesn't take too much effort to undo, then I'd let it be.

I've woken up to find a swastika drawn on the hood of my Evo. It's upsetting, but it washed right off. It never happened again while I lived in that neighborhood (the peninsula in Newport Beach) for another three years. Probably just some drunk people coming home from a party, thinking it was funny. I've also woken up to find pee on the side of my car, but I put two and two together and realized it was a guy who used to date this chick I had been sleeping with. I wanted to punch the guy, but whatever. I got the better end of the deal, and the car looked nice and clean after I took it to the carwash anyway. Introduced myself to the guy face to face at her birthday a year later and shook hands.

But again, kudos for actually following through so quickly.

Only part about my FRS was involved was that I was driving it when I found them red handed.

No offense to some of the people who post, but I think they are missing the picture here when they say "let it go". When are we all going to learn to respect each other in every way. Sure it's an impossible outlook when bad parenting is all over the place, but what are we going to do? Leave it as is? That'll just compound the problem.

It's not about the lipstick, it's not about how easily this can be undone. It's about plain and simple RESPECT. It's about behaving how you're suppose to behave in society, not just some prick that lives on the block.

Anyway -- message to the mod. If this belongs in the off-topic secion, please move it. My apologies for posting in the improper section.

To all those ney sayers did he ask you your opinion on the matter no. He asked for some assistance locating someone who was being a **** to set it straight that its not ok. Just so everyone is clear rubbing anything on your car will cause scratches even lipstick.

So for those of us who spend 6+ hours polishing it to a perfect sheen someone putting lipstick on it IS A HUGE FUCKING DEAL.

Only the DMV can do it in California.

I'm sure allot of states have gone this way.

We need to protect our selves.
