Better check your local laws before you get one of those license plate flipper thingies. Here in FL, any device that conceals your plate is grounds for a expensive ticket. I never see cars with them but over here, it's a big thing in the motorcycle community.

My boy has one of these for his A5 though.

The motorized one was the one I originally thought I posted a picture of, haha. If you want a non-motorized one, you could possibly head out to your local hardware store and craft one.

I like the motorized one, makes it feel like a bit of a transformer.

That would work if the grill was cut out.

I was thinking more of the motorized similar to what the OP posted work but even at the bottom of the chin spoiler it will be illegal since it's too low. I don't plan to mount it and just zip tie to the grill for the time being.

I thought of that, but I remember I saw something with Keiichi Tsuchiya and him other drivers performed a test with and without license plates. It was found that the oil temp increased and performance suffered. Something motorized that could be mounted like that supra would be nice if possible.

I'm not really sure on the dimensions for the bumper. I just figured that the video I posted gave a cleaner look to the car when it's in park or for a show. I feel the one you posted would get knocked out or become dysfunctional later on since its more exposed at the bottom of the car.

For those in NorCal watch out for San Francisco, got tagged (while parked) last night for $105 as I've never had a front plate on my Lexus SC300. Only one other time was a fixit tic. Going to see if I can get this reduced. Seems SF has a giant budget shortfall and this is an easy way to raise $$$$.

Need a plan for the FR-S as I won't want to put up with this on my new baby and WILL NOT let them drill the bumper. Told the dealer I'd turn around and walk out if they drill.
