It was also nice BC it became so popular that we would do this quarterly and Ford would actually bring out concept cars and prototypes to the track. We where one of the first public group of people to see the 03 Cobra up at Gingerman Raceway in Michigan. Well, just food for thought.

Sounds like an incredibly awesome time!! It will be kept in mind for future meets definitely, as that one would require a good amount of time for planing, but I do want to see it happen!!

That sounds awesome man. As far anything as a schedule goes i've got a few ideas in my head right now. With that being said before we can take this further and announce it with a date we've got to see more of an interest. I'm talking like 50-100 86ers at least. I've got one vendor that's ready to go and said they'd be happy to help with whatever. I'll post a new thread in a few weeks with a list of vendors who said they'll be there, where it's being hosted, and what's the date. Let's represent the East Coast!

Small update for everyone. We have a set stone location for the meet now. One vendor on this forum has agreed and said they'd be happy to host it at their company. We are currently working all the details out. Can for sure say that it will most likely be sometime in August. Some other surprises are in store and will be released in the near future

Can we get this thread stickied? Idk all the rules on sticky topics but we will need all the exposure we can get and if its stickied then it will always be on top. Secondly we need flyers or something. I know it may sound funny but I have seen several frs and brz's around Columbia and non of them are on this forum and if they are they never talk. I'm more then happy to put my contact info on windshields but we need something professional or something.

I'll be coming from Knoxville... maybe you can organize a meetup location in Chattanooga... It'd be awesome to have 86 86's rolling for Orlando!

I have family in Melbourne that I could swing by to visit while I'm down that way.

I think we need something on our windshields or something like you said... Something like the group "Vegas 86" has. They have a sticker on their windshields that's says "Vegas 86 Club"

Here is the picture of it

Something like that would let everyone that owns an 86 that we are a part of this forum. Idk just my thoughts.

Will definitely have a meet spot in Chattanooga or the Dalton area.

Lol, yeah I got one on my windshield. I joined the group when I lived out in SoCal. I've talked to Ben of I could use his same font and text just say Palmetto86club instead of Vegas86club. He said he has no problem with that except he wants it to be by city, not state or anything like that. Make sense? But yea we need something. Maybe even a Facebook page just for us in the south east. Unlike Vegas and SoCal our 86 population is spread like butter over the south east so we have to work alot harder then they do.
