Here are my pictures from Wednesday, finally got them uploaded! Enjoy.

Pictures!

Audi's booth is always clean and pure feeling. *The new A4 Allroad should be a hit.

RYE_3589.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

Audi TT RS is 5-cylinder heaven. *Not too sure on the red with red/black wheels though

RYE_3592.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

Engine bay of the Audi RS5 is a rebellion against other German brands affinity for sheets-o-plastic in the engine bay. *Strictly functional here.

RYE_3594.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

BMW i8 is futuristic, but in a good way? *The doors are totally implausible for tight parking garages

RYE_3606.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

New BMW 3-er looks better and tidier in person than the added inches left me to believe on paper

RYE_3609-Edit.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

BMW 335i in a fantastic blue

RYE_3614.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

RYE_3616.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

New 3-er interior is a bit of a mess stylistically. *The "Modern" interior trim is literally artificially ribbed wood, yikes!

RYE_3621.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

//M5 is huge. *Interior still smells like other 5-ers, which is toxic and/or cancerous

RYE_3624.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

MINI's booth was fun!

RYE_3639.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

RYE_3644.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

I love this shot of the new JCW Coupe in the "JCW Garage" portion of the MINI booth

RYE_3645.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

New [oops, "just] Beetle is great looking, and VW's booth had a fun DJ spinning lively and danceable tunes

RYE_3661.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

New "991" 911 looks fantastic despite being bigger than ever

RYE_3669.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

911's new interior is a big step up for Porsche fans

RYE_3670.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

Scion display was much more inviting, surrounding, and fun than the old shoe-box theme from years gone by

RYE_3679.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

New FR-S looks good, driving experience TBD

RYE_3692.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

Toyota had a couple Prii there I guess *yawn*

RYE_3705.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

Lexus sports GT concept looks much better than $350k LF-A sitting nearby

RYE_3710.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

New Caddy looks like a Caddy. It's supposed to be small, but looked big up on display.

RYE_3720.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

Chevy's booth honestly felt like a cheap small-town car show. *Too bad because they had some great cars to show off.

RYE_3881.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

Green Chrome "Hot Wheels" Camaro was awesome

RYE_3735.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

...and more

Chevy's "the red concept" looked like a small Camaro, and that's a great thing. *GM, BUILD THIS with an LNF and rear-drive ASAP!

RYE_3746.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

RYE_3742.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

Uh oh, who's been watching too much Office Space? *GM had bins of "Flair" promoting the Sonic. *Hopefully the demographic is impressed.

RYE_3753.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

The best part of the Nissan GT-R; the engine

RYE_3758.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

The worst part of the Nissan booth; the Murano 2-door convertible SUV w/sunroof. *Whaa??

RYE_3765.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

Michelin Man was hanging out and thrilled to pose for snapshots

RYE_3768.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

Sebastian Vettel's early 2010 Red Bull Formula 1. *Drool!

RYE_3771.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

Subaru BRZ, coming in 2-ish months to dealerships. *I can't wait to drive one!

RYE_3784.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

Fiat 500 Abarth looks great, and promises an amped up 500 experience

RYE_3798.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

500 Abarth interior. *RED!

RYE_3793.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

My photography & car enthusiast friend Rob is excited to drive one

RYE_3792.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

New Dodge Dart looks good. *Based on the Alfa Romeo Guilietta, with lots of cast and extruded aluminum, it should be exactly what Dodge needed for a small-ish car

RYE_3802.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

RYE_3803.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

If you haven't noticed, Tron light style has been prevalent this year at the show. *More proof:

RYE_3809.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

Bentley's booth is always a perfect example of simple luxury. *The new twin-turbo 4.0L V-8 should be fantastic too

RYE_3819.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

The Hyundai booth was dark, but interesting

RYE_3826.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

New Hyundai Veloster Turbo looks funky & cool, and should be good competition for the Cooper S, GTI, and forthcoming Fiesta ST

RYE_3831.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

New Mercedes-Benz "Super Light". *It's been about 60 years since that name was relevant

RYE_3842.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

Oh there it is! *An actual Mercedes Super Light! *This is the first one, a 1953 300 SL. *Note the half-upper-doors

...and finally:

The most beautiful concept of the show, the Acura NSX. *Acura spokespeople say it'll be in showrooms in 3 years. *Time to start saving!

RYE_3856.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

RYE_3859.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

Want to see 1,094 Horsepower in one place? *Here it is, the 444 HP Mustang Boss 302 and the 650 HP Mustang Cobra! *

RYE_3865.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

The under bits of the Mustang Boss 302

RYE_3870.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

Come on Ford, why isn't the Fiesta ST in production yet!?

RYE_3868.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

The super-mesmerizing "bucky balls" in the trying-very-hard Lincoln exhibit.

RYE_3875.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

Edsel Ford's very cool runabout hiding upstairs in Lincoln's booth

RYE_3878.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr

That's all!

Excellent stuff Rye!

I absolutely agree with you on the 3, exterior is nicer than expected but interior is a total clusterf-. Same with the ATS - boring like all of the other Caddy sedans. The Dart looks better in your photos than in most of the promo pics, which is good cause it looks pretty darn good in the promo pics too.

Also, BRZ in showrooms in 2-ish months? I want this to be true, but no US pricing on either BRZ or FR-S leads me to believe it's gonna be closer to 4-ish.

Thanks

I talked to a Subaru press rep at the show and they said the car should show up at dealers starting "the same time as the Geneva Auto Show", which is in early March. They also said that while the price hasn't been disclosed yet, they can say the BRZ will start "..in the mid $20k's". Nothing really new I know, but just a little bit straight from the source.

I got a few of the interior of both by zooming in with my camera while I was there.

Scion is the first two, and Subaru is the last.

I asked Subaru and Scion and both said mid 20's.

I think most of us will agree tho that they both won't start at the same price. Meh.

My dealer was telling me maybe mid Feb to start the pre-order process.
I certainly hope this is the case.

I found a picture I took of the BRZ interior [from a distance] and it turned out better than I expected. You can see the parking lights are on, so the tachometer lettering is glowing red. Tougher to see are the dual levers on the side of the seat; one for recline and one for flip-up to access the rear seats. Also, the push-button start is there, and there are no steering wheel buttons.

Interior materials quality looks to be the same on both...

I so confused with the trims and the steering wheel buttons @___@ are they suppose to be there or not. I hope a Premium will be at DC show so I can figure it out.
