It's so cool that someone with no affiliation to Subaru North America can get in before the show and on the stage and take pics for us! *puts on tin foil hat* Looking forward to this afternoon!

I've always wanted to do something like that, but I haven't gotten around to it. I always end up spending money elsewhere. Haha..

"Scion is also pleased to announce that the 2013 Scion FR-S will be
the first model to feature the all new Pioneer BeSpoke connected
infotainment audio system, powered by Zypr. The new BeSpoke system
has cool new features that include locating friends on the map on
your audio screen, reading and sending tweets via voice command,
posting on Facebook, and listening to over 200 internet radio
stations. There are so many advanced functions in this new system and
we can't wait for you to try them out when the FR-S goes on sale this
Spring."

Mandatory navigation?

"We're excited to announce
that Scion Racing and GReddy Racing have teamed up to create the
ultimate FR-S drift car for the 2012 Formula Drift season!"

And I'm guessing that's what is underwraps.

Somehow I doubt that NAV will be mandatory. It just doesn't seem like something you would include in a car that is supposed to be affordable.

Affordable to who? XD

Maybe its affordable to Toyota/Scion to have the navigation built in to offset the currency exchange?

I dunno, "Scion is also pleased to announce that the 2013 Scion FR-S will be
the first model to feature the all new Pioneer BeSpoke connected

I'm just curious what they mean by feature. Is this Pioneer navigation not on the Scion website? I have to leave soon so can't check :/

Still for somewhat odd reason, curious about the antennae lol

Looks like it may be standard. It says it will be the first scion model to feature this device. We will find out later. Now why make this standard and not push start? Hmmm

I noticed that too. It will be cool if it was the TRD N1 package.

It's still too soon for us to know if they're going to have an option for the push button start. We will have to wait and see. We can't assume.

Try a search, I'm not 100% positive, but I think there was a thread about it about a month ago.

I hope they didn't swap the motor cause they doesn't really look good for a car that is not out yet. I hope Greddy has a prototype of their turbo kit with the stock motor.

I am sure the covered car is the Scion FR-S Driftcar by Greddy. The FR-S by 5Axis will be shown later on some other american tuner salon/show and the TRD version will be shown in a few days in Tokyo. It will be interesting if Greddy made an EJ25 swap of a turbokit for the FA20. I am betting on EJ25 swap, as that engine is already proven and better for a turbo configuration.
