I reset my trip every time I drop my car off for service. My FR-S has never been driven more than 1 mile by the dealer for service (and I have 23K miles so I've had a few services).

Definitely check the oil level and color, too, after the oil change. With my last car, the Toyota dealer forgot to change my oil once during a service. Had I not pulled the dipstick my engine would have been seriously sludged-up.

Ran the piss out of a fully built EVO 9 so.. Yeah, it doesn't always work.. But like I said, I don't really care how anyone else drives my car, they are not driving harder then me, and if they mess it up I know I'm getting a new one if its bad, or getting it fixed and compensated if its not bad..
