No I like coupe version of the FR-S better. 133 39.82%
Yes I think it looks great; plus a soft top should help keep the weight and price down. 44 13.17%
Maybe, could we get a hardtop convertible as well like what Mazda does with its MX-5 Miata. 67 20.06%
No I personally wouldn't want one because I already have a coupe, but would like it built for others. 90 26.95%

Actually looks "natural" with the top up compared to others like the 350Z

My only reservation was what it looked like once I saw it with the roof on. But I gotta say, it looks great even with the top up. I'm basically sold on one of these if they make a Subaru version.

I'm not really feeling the soft top. It looks a bit loose and amateur to me, though maybe that's just because of the material they used. Hopefully they clean it up for production.

It does look like a baby DB9. But do a hard top vert and this thing will be a winner. Pretty sure cost is a factor though and production on something like that may never happen. Until then, the soft top is a nice alternative for anyone who wants a vert. Not for me though. Happy with my coupe purchase.

Incredible - the slope of that rear window!

We personally are not interested in a droptop version of this car, but if it sells and keeps people buying FUN driver-oriented vehicles... we say do it!

So, how do the back and side windows work with the top up, are they just thin plastic? The sides appear to be glass that tuck into the interior with the top down- I'm mostly inquiring about the back window.

Coupes turned convertible

But then they gotta make this platform cater to as many people as possible so I can appreciate it's existence.

The problem with a hardtop is they need a place to put it, and I don't think there's anywhere to put it. The miata hardtop uses alot of it's boot, right now it looks there there's still a good amount of space that can be used along with the back seats. I mean you can fit a full size man in the back of a miata trunk I've seen a vid of it before. But anyways The soft top makes sense because it can be scrunched and kept in a smaller place. What I can see happening is a Hard top cover. I wish we could see the mechanism work what it's raising and closing the top.

and again it's not a Coupe turned Convertible, they made the chassis with both in mind. Not because coupe was cool so let's make a convertible afterwards.
