What's the difference between these? Totally different part or just another STI option?

RaceComp has those so they're better equipped to answer... but the one you linked is 4 arms not just the 2 lower control arms.

$250 isn't a bad price. You'll have to remember they're not adjustable though (IIRC); just a pillowball.

But it replaces the same part?

The big arms are both LCA replacements. The $500 one also includes what they're calling lateral links, from what I'm deciphering of the description.

for clarity the rear suspension has 4 links the "genaric" nomenclature for thes arms is as follows:
the arm everyone is talking about here is the CAMBER arm just because the oems provides no adjustment doesn't change the name lol
The arm parallel to the camber arm is the TOE arm
The only arm going forward is the TRACTION arm
the arm with the highest conection (really a combination of two arms) is the UPPER arm...
please continue discusion.. there ARE NO LATTERAL LINKS in this multilink rear suspension..(they are usually reserved for a strut rear suspension design only).

Yeah, I thought it was funky that they were calling them lateral links as this isn't a strut type suspension. As I said, it was their description, but thanks much for the clarification Robi.

The only way to alter the roll center or other geometry of the rear would be to change where the pivot points are. Not really easy to do on the rear suspension of these things. You could do it with offset camber bushings in the upper arm, or by drilling a new mount in the subframe, or with a custom billet upright (MSI makes them and can do that for you, but it's $$$$). This would also change the camber curve and anti-geometry.

The angled arms are nice, especially on a lowered car, because they give you extra bump travel.
