Oh, and that whole economy thing...

I'm honestly really looking forward to the FT-86 and BRZ because I feel like this will be the start of a revival of the import scene, maybe even the early import scene where people would take their 'slow' rice burners out to the Friday night drags and surprise a few people.

Here's to hoping that this spurs Honda/Nissan/Mazda/Mitsu to make some affordable, small, light cars that can at least get me excited about heading to Monday night chicken wing meets again. We used to stand in the parking lot until 1-2am sometimes just trading all the same car-related stories.

Mistu and Honda are pretty much out of the picture.

I think if the BRZ-FRS pans out as well as everyone thinks it will, I would take a strong Guess that Nissan Has an S16(probably already) in the works and would plan to release it in the next 2 or 3 years.

Especially in the Bay Area where majority of potential buyers live.

i hope there will be everywhere, but...with different colors, style and mods, so when we meet its nice to see different, not everybody with the exact same cars and colors, thats would be really boring.

I really dont care about rice, has long has they pay it themself, im ok with it.

more it sell, more it have car, more potential group buy on aftermarket part, more cheap for the customer, more cheap for the manufacturer to product.

Not only that but who knows maybe in 5-15 years after production stops. They'll be less high trim, stocked ones which will command a premium in the market like an AE86, MR2-T, Supra TT, etc. And I can sell after I've had fun with it.

So yeah, I'm dying to test drive this car, I haven't drove a standard in over a year when I traded in my eclipse for a xD automatic since I had a baby. The xD should be paid off soon and once it is all I gotta do is save up a little for a down payment assuming I like the test drive and I bet I will.

The FR-S will be EVERYWHERE. Everyone I know are trading in their Bimmers, lexus', mercedes, and even people are upgrading from their corollas and civics just to get the FR-S. I think they will be WAAAYYYY more popular than civics. Everyone will have one....and so will I!!!

can't wait for every SCION owner "making it individual" but just like everyone else.... one thing I hate about SCION's "motto" and standpoint
